Dr. Philip Gross was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Susquehanna University, where he graduated as a University Scholar with a BA in Physics with concentrations in Biology and Mathematics. He then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, in Philadelphia, where he attained his Doctor of Optometry degree with both clinical and academic honors.
After graduation, Dr. Gross completed an additional residency in hospital-based eye care where he was involved with both teaching and advanced patient care. Dr. Gross spent his first nine years in Philadelphia in both private practice and on staff at large teaching hospitals. He then joined Vision Quest Eye Care Center in 2000. He provides both Comprehensive Eye Care as well as treatment of eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Aaron Yatskevich graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies he worked as a clinical research coordinator conducting studies on laser refractive surgeries. He then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Toward the completion of his graduate studies he attended an externship at Norton Sound Hospital in Nome, Alaska. He practiced optometry in Southern Delaware and St Louis, MO. In addition to comprehensive eye care, Dr. Yatskevich also treats various ocular diseases, fits soft and gas permeable contact lenses and comanages cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgeries.
Dr. Lewallen was raised in Michigan and earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Hope College, Holland, MI and completed her Doctor of Optometry at the Illinois School of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Lewallen has over 20 years of clinical experience she brings to Vision Quest.
She and her husband relocated to Delaware in 1999. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves cooking, reading, and skiing. Dr. Lewallen is a member of the Delaware and American Optometric Associations and is certified by the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Lewallen provides comprehensive vision and medical eye care, including contact lens examinations and management of eye diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, eye infections and diabetic ocular health evaluations.
Dr. Troy Raber is originally from York, Pennsylvania and earned his B.S in Biology at Millersville University and completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL, graduating with highest honors. After completing a residency at the Illinois Eye Institute, Dr. Raber served on faculty for several years at the Illinois College of Optometry. He has been practicing optometry in Kent and Sussex counties since 1999.
Dr. Raber performs comprehensive primary eye care and medical ocular evaluations for patients of all ages. He fits contact lenses, treats dry eye and glaucoma, provides post-operative care and manages patients with cataracts, diabetes and macular degeneration. In addition, Dr. Raber is a guest lecturer at the Beebe School of Nursing and speaks to community groups on the importance of eye and vision care.
